A popular Canadian Log Hauler on Youtube shows off his sweet custom special edition Peterbilt 379X. It’s a project that he continually works on, but looks good enough compete with some show trucks, even in it’s current condition.
The 379X Peterbilt is powered by a 550 C-15 Cat engine and 18 speed Eaton Fuller transmission.
This ain’t your typical show truck that hasn’t seen the road, it hauls 140,000 pounds day in and day out and has racked up a million miles so far.
In his description, he describes his business as “haul[ing] pulp wood, saw logs and trees to various mills in NW Ontario and Northern Minnesota, my trailer is a 1992 48′ Superior 4-axle trailer and my gross weight is usually between 60 and 70 tonne”.
The footage is shot in the evening which helps show off the truck’s custom light kits.
