A police dash cam captured a box truck being pushed into a traffic stop by a vehicle that blindly changed lanes.
The incident occurred on October 31st at approximately 4 p.m. near Marysville, Ohio.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol posted the following on Facebook:
“A driver and trooper narrowly avoid injury Tuesday when the vehicle stopped was struck by passing traffic near Marysville. The box truck was struck and pushed onto the shoulder by another vehicle changing lanes. This serves as a reminder that drivers should always slow down and move over as they approach stopped public safety vehicles or roadside workers.”
Many commenters voiced their opinions about the motorist’s reckless lane change.
“It was another driver’s error and thankfully no one was hurt/killed due to their actions…” wrote one user.
“Sometimes there are the idiot left laners who won’t let us in the right lane get over, even when we see an officer with a car stopped and our turn signal blinking,” commented another.
Luckily, everyone involved escaped without injury.
