A helmet cam captured a taxi driver making a near fatal decision in the face of a tractor trailer.
The video was published on YouTube by user Canadian Rider and took place in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
The clip shows the orange and turquoise taxi driving in the right lane and failing to adhere to a yield sign as it makes a right turn at an intersection.
After turning directly in front of flowing traffic, the cab driver decides to immediately stop in a travel lane in order to let off a passenger…
…and completely ignores a moving semi truck headed straight for him.
Thankfully, the driver of the tractor trailer was able to avoid what could have been a serious wreck.
