A truck driver was killed on Sunday morning after losing control of his rig and overturning off the side of a Utah highway.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, 57-year-old Salvador Lemus-Tellez was traveling on the westbound lanes of SR-218, when his rig tipped over around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.KUTV.com reported that the driver drifted towards the right, and over-corrected too-far to the left, causing his tanker truck to overturn.
The cab of the truck was crushed when it flipped over, killing the driver instantly.
An investigation is still underway. There were no witnesses.
