A semi truck hauling a windmill turbine blade got stuck while attempting a U-turn on Tuesday morning, blocking traffic across all lanes of the highway.

The incident happened on the morning of July 3rd in Cloquet, Minnesota.

According to the Cloquet Police Department, the big rig was trying to make a U-turn on Highway 33 north of Highway 2 when it ended up partially in a ditch, leaving the rig and its oversize load stuck.

The incident blocked traffic in both the north and southbound lanes of Highway 33, but the semi truck was moved to the side at around 8:40 a.m., clearing the roadway and allowing for traffic to flow freely once again.

Any information regarding citations issued in the incident, as well as the identity of the driver involved, has not been released.
