A drunk driver in a Chevy Camaro tried to pass a pickup truck by driving on the shoulder of Interstate 90 in Upstate New York, but caused a massive wreck last week.
Trucker Tim Linton, who had just installed his new dash cam, caught the entire incident on video.
The Camaro can be seen driving erratically before swerving onto the shoulder and attempting to cut off the pick up. The driver cuts in too soon and rams into the pickup, causing both vehicles to collide with a semi on the right. All three vehicles end up in a ditch off the side of the road.
According to ABC7, the driver of the Camaro, 32-year-old Kiran Thapa, had a blood alcohol level of .19 percent. He has been charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, as well as several traffic violations.
He was arrested and released on $2,500 bail.
