
A truck driver was injured when a large bird shattered his windshield on Sunday morning.
It happened on the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Havre de Grace, Maryland around 8:06 a.m.
According to local Fox 45 news, the driver suffered injuries from the shattered glass and was taken to the University of Maryland Harford Memorial Hospital. He’s expected to make a full recovery.
Fire Chief Scott Hurst said it happened between the Havre de Grace and Perryville exits and that a large bird was involved, however he wasn’t able to name what kind of bird it was.
