A truck driver accidentally drove into a moving train on Saturday in Clayton, Delaware, after his foot slipped off the brake pedal according to the Delware State Police.

The driver, 34-year-old Justim M. Sherwood, approached the intersection in his 2014 Freightliner at the same time a Norfolk-Southern train was crossing. He told officers that he stopped at the railroad warning lights, when his foot slipped off the brake and accidentally pressed the gas pedal.

Sherwood was not injured and was wearing a seat belt, but was ticketed for inattentive driving by the DSP.
