
A truck driver was ticketed for not having proper permits, after breaking down while hauling 12 tigers through Frankfurt, Kentucky.
According to local WKYT news, the driver was transporting circus tigers from Anderson, South Carolina, to Chicago, Illinois, when his rig broke down with a flat tire in Kentucky on Monday evening.
The driver reportedly parked the truck in a strip mall parking lot and spent the night in a nearby hotel, leaving the animals in their cages in the trailer.

On Tuesday morning, the Public Works office of Frankfort was contacted because the tigers were out of drinking water. City officials showed up to the lot and provided the animals with water around 11 a.m.

The truck’s tire was repaired around 1 p.m.
The driver of the truck received a ticket from the Department of Fish and Wildlife for not having the proper permits to haul exotic animals in the state of Kentucky.
