On Friday, September 25th, 53-year-old truck driver Russel Staley of Saginaw, Texas, was driving northbound on I-35 in Turner Falls, Oklahoma, when he says he reached for a drink and lost control of his rig, swerving over the median and colliding with bus carrying a North Texas College Softball Team.

11 students were injured, and 4 girls died.

The accident is being looked at as a homicide, therefore toxicology test for both drivers were taken at the scene of the incident by state Oklahoma Highway patrol troop.

Officers noted that there were no skid marks on the ground even though the brakes appeared to be functioning normally.

No charges have been filed yet, but the driver may face manslaughter charges.
