A semi truck crashed into a Burger King restaurant in North Augusta, South Carolina, on Wedesnday.

According to The Augusta Chronicle, 68-year-old driver Kenneth Sanderson was traveling on Knox Avenue when he lost control and drove through the intersection, knocking down several trees, and plowing into the side of the restaurant.

North Augusta Lt. Tim Thornton called it an “unfortunate accident” and said the driver will not be charged.

The restaurant was not open at the time of the incident. Sanderson suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

An investigation is underway to determine why the driver lost control.
