A semi truck landed on its top Sunday after the truck driver fell asleep at the wheel, sending the rig driving up an embankment.

The wreck happened on May 6th at approximately 4:30 p.m. in Utah County, Utah.

According to Fox 13 Salt Lake City, a semi truck hauling produce was driving northbound along Interstate 15 near mile marker 246 when police say the driver fell asleep, sending the rig drifting off the right shoulder of the roadway, through a fence and up a slight embankment before overturning and landing completely upside down.

The unidentified truck driver suffered only minor injuries in the crash and no other vehicles were involved.

The right lane of I-15 north was closed for several hours as the Utah Highway Patrol worked to clear the scene, but the roadway has since been reopened.
