A truck driver who flipped his big rig on U.S. 22 was arrested for driving while under the influence. It happened on Thursday morning in Harrison County, Ohio.

WTOV 9 reported that 49-year-old truck driver, Anthony Ashe, lost control while maneuvering a turn.

That’s when the semi truck veered off the road, hit a guardrail and struck a utility pole, causing it to overturn.

The man was arrested after police conducted field sobriety tests at the scene.

Sgt. Jeff Bernard of the Ohio State Highway Patrol explained, “It’s not common to find a driver, a professional driver out here, that’s impaired. We do have it, but it’s not a common thing.”

No one was injured in the crash, but the little girl is now in the custody of social services.

Ashe is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail on charges of OVI and Endangering Children.
