A driver recently captured a reckless maneuver performed by a truck driver on a Canadian highway.
The clip, which was posted on August 10th, shows a semi truck crossing double yellow lines, into the direction of oncoming traffic, in order to pass the recording driver. The truck swiftly moves back into the correct lanes as another semi truck approaches head-on.
The video was posted by YouTuber Steve Marshall, who wrote the following description:
This is the biggest idiot we encountered on our cross Canada Tour. Passed our 40 foot Coach on a double yellow line with another Semi Truck coming our way. He got stopped by police and given a ticket for dangerous driving. Hope he loses his license. Later I found 5 duplicate Semi/dump trucks with a trailer turn off on the same road. He was likely trying to catch up putting lives at risk.
Thankfully, no one was injured by the risky maneuver. We definitely don’t suggest trying this one yourself.
