11 truck batteries were stolen from a trucking business in Indianapolis, Indiana, early Tuesday morning.

The theft happened at A&B Fleet Services, a truck repair shop on West Morris Street in Indianapolis. The owner of A&B, Adam Bright, says it’s happened multiple times since Christmas.

In total, more than 40 batteries were stolen from trucks parked in A&B Fleet Services since last December. Bright says the batteries cost $100 to $140, but are stolen and sold for a fraction of their value.

“You know everybody that parks here parks at their own risk. We have owner-operators, one-truck guys just trying to make a living, and now they have to put $600 worth of batteries in their truck. It’s very frustrating,” Bright added.
