
A man was arrested on Friday evening, after he crashed his 18-wheeler into a pickup truck while allegedly intoxicated.
The incident happened at the intersection of FM 1960 and Kensiwck Drive in Humble, Texas, just north of Houston.
According to Harris county police, the driver of the tractor trailer, 25-year-old Michael Stanberry-Lambert, had allegedly been drinking and failed to stop at a red light. After running the light, Stanberry-Lambert swerved into a pickup truck, pushing it nearly 200 feet before coming to a stop.
The driver of the pickup truck, Aaron Rincon, was killed in the crash. Two other people in the pickup, including Rincon’s wife, were hurt in the accident and taken to the hospital but are expected to survive.
Stanberry-Lambert was not injured in the incident.
On Saturday morning, Stanberry-Lambert was charged with intoxication manslaughter in a deadly crash. He’s currently being held at a Harris County jail on $45,000 bond.
