A dash cam video was recently shared online, showing a motorist that attempting to make a U-turn on an Illinois highway in front of a loaded tractor trailer.
The car can be seen tapping its brakes and beginning to slow down in front of the semi truck.
All of a sudden, the car slams on its brakes and turns on its blinker right in front of the moving truck.
The truck blares its horn and slams on its brakes, swerving onto the shoulder to avoid hitting the sedan. The “no U-turns” sign can clearly be seen.
The driver, who uploaded the footage to LiveLeak, wrote “There was traffic on the right side of the truck and couldn’t get over. I was pulling a fully loaded 53ft. trailer. Thought for sure there was going to be contact. Luckily, no one ran into the back of me.”
Miraculously no one was hurt in the incident and no vehicles were damaged thanks to the quick reaction of the trucker.
