The two new and one renovated travel stops opened up on Thursday, June 7th in Statesville, North Carolina, Lake City, Florida, and Milan, New Mexico respectively.

According to the Love’s Press Release, the Statesville location can be found at 229 Mocksville Highway, which is accessible from Interstate 40 via exit 154. The store is more than 8,000 square feet and features a Chester’s and McDonald’s restaurant, along with snacks, gourmet coffee, fresh to-go food, soft drinks, electronics, and more. To top it off, the location also boasts five showers, a Love’s Truck Tire Center, and an impressive 92 truck parking spots.

“The new location in Statesville will allow us to serve even more Customers in the convenient Charlotte metro-area,” said Tom Love, executive chairman and founder of Love’s.

The second newly opened Love’s travel stop can be found in Lake City at 13700 South US Highway 441, which can be accessed from Interstate 75, exit 414.

The 10,000 square foot facility houses a Hardee’s restaurant and offers the standard snacks, coffee, drinks, and electronics. More importantly, the location boasts seven showers, laundry facilities, a Truck Tire Care center, and a whopping 99 truck parking spots.

“It’s going to bring in a lot of new traffic and revenue to our local community; it will be a great addition to the area,’ said Columbia County Commissioner Everett Phillips.

In addition to the two new locations, the Milan, New Mexico Love’s Travel Stop located at 257 Horizon Boulevard, which can be accessed from Interstate 40, exit 79, has been renovated and reopened, this time with more cooler space, increased restaurant seating, a Godfather pizza and a new roller grill. The Chester’s and Subway restaurants can still be found inside the facility, along with the traditional snack, drink, coffee, and small electronic options. 66 truck parking spaces are also available at the over 8,000 square foot facility.

“The Loves Travel Center is a big part of the Village of Milan,” said village manager of Milan, Paul Pena.

“It has been sorely missed by the community during the reconstruction of the beautiful new store. Love’s is one of our larger contributors to the economic base of the Village of Milan, as well as an essential part of our community. We are very excited about the Grand Opening!”

As part of the grand opening of each of the Love’s Travel Stops, Love’s has donated $2,000 to local nonprofit organizations within each of the communities.
