The Oklahoma City Police Department are on the lookout for three individuals who were involved in the theft of employee paychecks from a local trucking company last month.
The owner of Stevens Trucking says a man slipped passed a locked gate, entered their office, and stole the checks on September 16th. The routing numbers and account numbers on the checks were used to create several fake checks, totaling $7,000.
The checks were cashed the following day, by two other individuals at the Walmart on 44th and Western in Oklahoma City.
All three individuals involved were caught on surveillance cameras. The footage was released by the OKPD on October 2nd.
Although the loss will be covered by the bank and Walmart, the incident has caused a large headache for Stevens, who told KFOR.com, that his company had to cancel all checks and open new bank accounts.
Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. There is a cash reward available for anyone able to provide information leading to an arrest.
The owner of Stevens transport said he will match the Crime Stoppers reward if the suspects are caught.
