A man passed away Wednesday after being crushed while changing a semi truck tire.
The accident happened on August 1st at around 5:05 p.m. in Watkins, Minnesota.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says that 54-year-old Joseph Edwin Pauly was at his rural home using a hydraulic bottle jack to lift his semi truck in order to crawl underneath and change a tire when the jack slipped, causing the big rig to fall on top of Pauly, crushing him.
Family members later found Pauly and called 911, reported the St. Cloud Times.
When police, fire department, and ambulance arrived, Pauly was already dead.
