
A pickup driver was injured after plowing into the back of a tractor trailer that was stopped at a red light on Saturday morning.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. in Riviera Beach, Florida.
According to Riviera Beach Fire-Rescue, the pickup truck struck the semi, which was stopped at a traffic light on Blue Heron Boulevard at Interstate 95.
The pickup driver was able to crawl out of his vehicle after the collision and was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center for his injuries.

The tractor trailer driver was not injured in the wreck.
Four westbound lanes were temporarily shut down in order for crews to clear the scene. They have since reopened.
An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the accident. The identities of the drivers have not been revealed.
