A truck driver was arrested on Sunday morning after officers discovered marijuana, THC gummies, and a loaded weapon inside the cab of his semi truck.

It happened on December 3rd at approximately 10 a.m. at the Lincoln Tunnel in Weehawken, New Jersey.

According to Patch New Jersey, Port Authority police officers pulled over the tractor trailer after it set off the over-height alarm at the toll plaza at the Lincoln Tunnel. The truck was driven by 27-year-old Colorado-resident Michael Anthony Paige Morse.

Police then searched the cab and discovered a 9 mm Glock pistol with a 15 round magazine. The gun was loaded with 14 rounds and one in the chamber. Officers also discovered brass knuckles, over 24 grams of marijuana, 4 alleged THC gummies, and various drug paraphernalia.

Morse was placed under arrest and currently faces charges of unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a high-capacity magazine, unlawful possession of armor-penetrating bullets, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as various traffic summonses.

A court date has not been released.
