A semi truck suffered catastrophic damage in a collision with a farm tractor in Box Elder County, Utah, on Tuesday.
The crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. on April 15 on I-15 near mile marker 382 in Tremonton, Utah.
A farm tractor was traveling north on I-15, partially on the shoulder and partially blocking the right lane, according to Fox 13. A northbound semi truck approaching the tractor attempted to swerve but struck the tractor and crashed off of I-15.
Images captured at the scene show that the crash left part of the cab separated from the rest of the vehicle, but officials say that no one was hurt.
“It’s no secret that when anybody walks away from a vehicle accident they are lucky. Especially when it involves a semi.. But this one’s a miracle,” said the Garland Fire Department. “Amazingly, the driver walked away without a single injury. Call it luck, call it a miracle—we’re simply grateful for the outcome. Please remember to stay alert and cautious out there. Your safety matters.”
