In Jackson County, Michigan, a semi truck driver flipped his truck after bees flying inside of his cab caused a distraction.

According to Mlive, the incident occurred on eastbound I-94 this morning at 9:45 a.m. The trailer flipped near the N. Concord exit,127, causing damage to the guardrail and blocking the right lane of the freeway.

Deputies were called to the scene where the semi had rolled over.

It ended up on the south side of the freeway.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department stated that the Chicago driver, age 27, was swatting at bees inside his cab just before he lost control of his truck.

Officers also realized the driver did not possess a valid license.

Although the driver sustained minor injuries, treatment was refused.

The truck driver was cited for lacking a valid license and for causing the crash.

Traffic was temporarily diverted and was reopened after 2 p.m.
