A kind act from a neighborhood truck driver recently went viral. More importantly it made a little autistic boy and his family very happy.

Little Daniel Newberger of Ojai California, waited outside every week to greet the driver. He loved watching the garbage truck and even had a replica toy that he carried around with him all the time.

One day however, Daniel lost his favorite toy. He still enthusiastically waited every Monday to watch the real truck pass by and wave at the driver.

The neighborhood driver, Manuel Sanchez, got word of the Daniel’s missing toy and made a trip to the house that the boy and his family will be thankful for, for a long time.

As he stops to pick up the trash he lets the mom know that he has a special surprise for Daniel.

The boy, just wanting to get his usually glance at the passing truck is complete surprised, as is his family.

The driver’s special gift was a brand new replica garbage truck for his little fan, the same one that was lost.

The whole event was caught on a cell phone camera and shows the impact of a little kindness going a long way. The clip has since gone viral with over 2 million views on YouTube, and tons of thank you cards going out to the driver.

Way to go Manuel, you’re a great example, not just for drivers everywhere, but for the entire nation.
