A woman in Carroll County, Indiana, is searching for a semi truck driver that she says saved her life.

Back on October 27th, 76-year-old Pat Duff went to check her mailbox off SR 18, when she was violently thrown to the ground and attacked by her neighbor’s dog.

As she wrestled with the dog, a truck driver who was traveling on the busy road stopped and helped pull the animal off of her. She was able to run inside and call 911.

Now she’s looking for the driver to thank him in person.

“I really feel like if it hadn’t been for this gentleman either the traffic would have got me or the dog — one or the other,” she told reporters.

“There’s an angel driving a semi,” she added.

The owners of the dog were cited for keeping a non-immunized dog. The case has been passed to the local prosecutors office for review.
